    I’ve been wanting to make these buns at home for so long now! Do I just need a steamer pot? Also do you have the recipe?

    600g all-purpose flour

    6g baking powder

    3g salt

    40g granulated sugar

    360ml whole milk

    7g instant yeast

    neutral oil (for brushing)

    Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.

    Warm the milk slightly (not hot) and mix in the instant yeast.

    Add wet ingredients to dry and mix into a rough dough.

    Rest dough for 10 minutes, then knead until smooth.

    Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, until puffy.

    Divide into 16 pieces. Shape into balls.

    Place each piece on a small parchment square on a baking sheet.

    Cover with lightly with tea towel and rest 15 minutes.

    Flatten, brush the inside lightly with oil, fold/shape as desired.

    Steam for 10 minutes, then turn off heat and let sit covered for 4 minutes to prevent collapse.
