Recipe (scaled up to fit my Ø23cm and 10cm high mold) : https://youtu.be/0qq2MACXNWk?is=cQLA928B5jrbSsRd

I’ve been making these for a while now, and I can’t get enough. The texture is really to die for, it’s like biting into a cloud. Next time I will try to add some stronger flavors (this one is vanilla) like black sesame or pistachio.

Looks amazing. Every time I make Japanese cheesecake, it falls after coming out of the oven. Any tips to keep it so fluffy?

The best part is that it doesn’t have any raisins in it at all! 😊

Okay I gotta know because I love cheesecake but have never tried this, is it fluffy like a cake or is it melty and creamy like a cheesecake? Both? It looks amazing!

That looks divine! Do you know what the size of the pan used in the original recipe is? I didn’t see it listed anywhere.

I have a very hard time calling this a cheesecake, but no problem calling it a delicious soufflé.

  17. The shape is perfect damn. I love cotton cheesecakes, Japan has conjured up some heavenly desserts over the years.

That was the most comforting and satisfying video I have ever watched. The audio was delightful.

Your cake looks amazing also. How is the sweetness? I’ve heard Japanese cheesecake is much less sweet. I like mine sweet though, could you get that same rise and texture out of one with more sugar added?
