  1. Excellent salad, delicious. I didn't have raisins, and used finely chopped dates instead. Guests said it was befitting of a 3 star Michelan! I served them on a romaine leaf, in a large clear glass bowl with extra pepitas and a sprinkle of Fleur de Sol salt at serving. Thank you, I subscribed from Tyler Texas.

  2. I'm not much of a cook, but I think I can make this salad easily. I'm going to serve it with a nice cut of rib eye.

  3. Unless you are using your own home made raisins (using grapes that have been dehydrated), raisins usually contain extremely toxic vegetable oils like cotton seed oil.
Salad looks delicious though. Chopped nuts eg walnuts, cashews, Brazil's etc would be a nice addition too. I sometimes add chopped dates to my salads also, and sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and nutritional yeast. Thank you for posting, watching from New Zealand

  4. Gut Health please.
Emjoy watching your videos- great videography and explanations.
    Thank you!

  5. I was taught in college cookery that if you cut green veg with a metal knife it destroys vitamins, obviously that's not correct.

  7. Can I use canned beets? I cleaned out my pantry and I found so many hidden in the back.

  8. Greetings from Bangalore, India. This looks such a delicious salad. I would definitely make this, but without raw spinach. Unfortunately, as I am hypothyroidic, I cannot eat spinach, especially when not cooked.

I would however add some raw papaya to this. And as it is the mango season here now in Bangalore, I would add raw mango as well. (Either / or would also go well, I think). With the dressing as per your recipe it should make a very attractive and tasty salad indeed.

Thank you for the recipe and the lovely video.
