Where can I find fresh Dungeness crab meat in a cup? Preferably somewhere near Redondo or San Pedro. Most places I’ve seen only have cooked or seasoned crab, but I’m just looking for fresh crab like what’s shown here. Thanks!

Malibu Seafood has steamed Dungeness crab, you could also check Neptune’s Net.

Maybe Quality Seafood in Redondo. Not sure their preparation but it’s a big seafood market on the pier.

There are Korean restaurants on the pier of Redondo that steams fresh crab made to order. It comes with butter dip but you don’t have to use it if you don’t like it.

I haven’t been in 25 years, but I used to go to Captain Kidd in Redondo with my family. I have vague memories of smacking crabs open over new paper covered tables.

Slightly Outside of LA in Tustin and New Port there is crab cooker that has this.

I could swear my fancy Ralph’s has cold steamed Dungeness crab sometimes in the seafood chiller case. Maybe ask your seafood manager?
