Does this count, because I am pretty sure they *know* it is stupid food. There is a whole trend in Japan where chains come out with these patently ridiculous burgers. And, it all seems like they know it is a joke, and people buy one and try it….there are probably “burger otaku,” and all that.
But, like, is it stupid food if they say down and said, “Let’s make some stupid food.”
Where is the sincerity? I feel like it needs to have been sincerely made to be true stupid food.
Upvoted anyway, because no matter the intent, it is DUMB!

Honestly yeah. The first pic feels more like a joke while the one in the corner shows there’s gonna be plenty of shrimp too. Shrimp, a ton of lettuce, and mayo sounds simple but tasty.

All the water would make the bun turn into slop in your mouth… I’d rather just put the shrimp in the middle n eat it like a sandwich w/o the bun

yeh. The mild flavours of the lettuce and mayonnaise go well with the sweetness boiled shrimp. Maybe add a bit of dill though.

It’s Dom Dom Hamburger.
They do weird burgers like these, like the [tomato burger](https://domdomhamburger.com/topics/7283.html) (it has a whole tomato).
Their fried [soft-shell crab burger](https://domdomhamburger.com/topics/6996.html) is lovely though. And their mascot is very cute and marketable.
