March 26, 2026 (Montpellier, France) — Maison Le Breton celebrates B Corp Month by reaffirming its commitment to sustainable wine. As part of B Corp Month, Maison Le Breton, a family-owned wine company based near Montpellier in southern France, is highlighting its ongoing commitment to sustainable, responsible, and accessible wine. Certified B Corp since 2023, the winery is part of a global movement of businesses balancing profit with social and environmental responsibility.

Family-owned, with a unique approach to wine Maison Le Breton produces wines under the La Jasse, Montlobre, and Vignes des Deux Soleils labels. Combining production with négociant activity, the company distributes primarily through mail-order partners across Europe, supported by a distinctive marketing approach.

A commitment embedded in daily practice

Maison Le Breton has integrated sustainability into every stage of its operations:

Removing bottle capsules, which are non-essential and often non-recyclable

Reducing bottle weight from 600g to 405g, lowering carbon footprint

Continuously optimizing sourcing, production, and distribution to minimize environmental impact

“As a B Corp, our goal is to craft wine that is good for people and the planet” says Morgane Le Breton, “[…] these practices are not one-off initiatives, they reflect how we operate every day.”

Maison Le Breton joins other wineries and wine companies that are part of the international B Corp movement, including including other French wineries such as Maison Bollinger, Domaines Barons de Rothschild and European like Symington Family Estates. B Corp certificationnew standards were realeased last April, raising the bar.

The movement now relies on Purpose and Stakeholder Governance, Government Affairs and Collective Action but also Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.

B Corp certification is not an end in itself. It is a demanding label that constantly challenges companies to improve. In 2026, Maison Le Breton will seek re-certification under the new standards,, symbolizing its ongoing pursuit of transparency, high standards, and social and environmental responsibility.
