










Recipe:
105g starter
330g water
500g bread flour
12g salt
Recently got a starter off of my local FB neighborhood group from a nice older lady! I told her that if I could successfully bake an edible loaf, I would gift one back to her as an appreciation for providing the starter. Very happy with how this loaf turned out 🙂 I also made homemade butter to gift her as well!
I also attached a crumb shot she sent me when her and her husband had it for dinner but it is a bit difficult to see because of the exposure 😂
***Would love if you guys could post some of your sourdough designs on this thread so I can attempt some when I bake again!

What a cute interaction, it came out looking great! Do you use a proofing mat? I noticed the temp go from 73° to 78°
Can I ask, how do you get your dough into such a smooth ball during the stretch and folds?

Awww this is one of the few breads I’ve ever seen that I’d regret cutting into… until I saw the pic of the salted butter lol 😋
