Leg of lamb with rosemary, garlic and lemon, sous vide for 8.5 hours at 53°c then finished on the rotisserie over fire. Was absolutely amazing!

Thank you for your picture post to r/sousvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.

If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.

Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.

    Thank you!!

As someone who loves to sous vide and especially likes to cook over an open fire, this is going to be a game changer for me. Already pre-planning to sous vide in advance and then take camping.

I hate how I didn’t do this and I’m not eating that. My word, that looks amazing. I wish I had an award for you.

Well, I just went online and ordered a bone-in leg of lamb to make for Easter dinner. You can add “Internet Influencer” to your résumé now.

Was that a boneless or bone-in leg? It looks great. Did you make some sauces with it?
