Bought Daring chicken for the first time today to make a buffalo chicken wrap, and it was TRULY life changing. I am always skeptical of a lot of new vegan meat products in fear of them being bad, and I wish I hadn’t waited so long to try it 😭

Just cooked it on stovetop, then tossed in Primal Kitchen Buffalo sauce and put on a tortilla with cucumber, tomato, and some Kite Hill Greek yogurt.

Truly heavenly.

  1. It’s so good. Big fan of the Cajun version

Daring is fabulous. I like to get the plain and toss it in peri peri.

  3. I have a local restaurant that makes Bahn Mi tacos with Daring and I’m OBSESSED

Whaaaaat?! Daring is easily my least favorite chicken sub. I’m convinced the same people who like Daring Chicken are the same ones who love Meati steaks.

  5. Love Daring! A bit expensive but worth buying a few bags when it’s on sale!

Probably because it’s expensive for not a lot. That’s normally my reason for not buying it.

I’d love to know how people who love it have cooked it. I’ve tried it a few different ways and find it to be really dry and not a super satisfying chew (too tough). I haven’t found it gross or anything, but so many people say it’s amazing and I find it to be just okay.

I liked it and i don’t like most faux meats but it’s like $7 when it’s not on sale? Which seems insane for like two servings

I must be the only one who’s not a fan…

The breaded daring chicken is sooooo good, I love it. Fairly high fiber also which I like.

I miss the breaded version and the new chopped one was great to throw in for Daring n dumpling soup but once it simmers the texture doesn’t hold up as well as Alpha for me.

What’s your favorite way to heat them? They get super chewy after using the air fryer

My go-to protein for like 20 years was seitan, but last year I was diagnosed used with celiac and have .missed it terribly. I tried Daring a couple of weeks ago for the first time and was goddamned delighted with it. It’s hard to find something that’s plant-based, good, *and* gf; usually it’s just two out of three.

    More peas less soy-isolate!

Its delicious!!! I season it with, garlic powder, “italian seasoning”, and red pepper flakes and put it on my salad and makes wraps with it all the time…

I’m 8.5 years in and still haven’t tried it. I don’t know why either.

It’s great. Super versatile and I haven’t been able to come close to duplicating it .
Beyond chicken is a close second.
