    Do you live in a humid climate? Was it raining? This is what mine look like when the air in my kitchen is too humid.

    I’m guessing these were not rested long enough before baking. The holes in the top suggest the air escaped through the top of the shells instead of from the bottom where the batter meets the parchment, which is how the feet are formed. They’re tricky little buggers.

    Yep, humidity or rain means they need more rest. This picture confirms not enough rest.
