Dining hall did good today, 4 over medium eggs, cup of grits, some salsa, yogurt and fruit. Best way to start the day, sweet and savory.

agreed. This is a thing and should be promited. Fule your day, not load up before you take an 8 hour nap.

Even looking at that much food in the morning would make me nauseous. I wake up at 4:45 am, don’t eat anything until at least 8. And just a couple handfuls of nuts and cranberries. Yougurt or cottage cheese at 10.

Healthwise, this makes good sense. Too bad my intermittent fasting schedule hampers me.

Your opinion is at odds with every nutritionist in the world.

  6. to be full and bloated the rest of the day? pass. Although that sounds fantastic

IMO, we should all do more to eat to our hunger. Serve yourself a small amount of food, eat it, get more if you’re hungry, stop when you’re full. (Of course, eating disorders and certain health conditions can alter this equation, so this isn’t necessarily for everybody). But don’t go hungry because of a preconceived notion about how much you “should” eat, and don’t overindulge because of cravings or “omg it’s so good”.

That said, for me, 4 eggs is too many eggs. 3 eggs if I’m hungry, 2 if I’m less hungry, 1 if it’s going on top of something else. If I’m hungry for more than 3 eggs, I’ll eat something else.
