Does that say 10 cents? Mail me all of those I’ll quadruple that and pay shipping

10 cents? I mean why not just put them outside the front of the store with a ‘Free’ sign on them

This just makes me sad that Underwood called it quits…

At least they could keep their Sriracha the right damn color.

They butchered their entire supply chain to improve margins, and have come out with a far far inferior sauce as a result of it. Honestly, you want quality sriracha? The Tabasco one is the absolute best I’ve had, and you can get it anywhere as a result.

Huy Fong screwing themselves led to a lot of other companies selling sriracha sauce and a lot of them are doing well

I’d take the brown Huy Fong over any other sriracha.

I’ve tried over a dozen other srirachas hoping they would be better, but I still think huy fong is better even though it’s not nearly as good as it use to be.

It’s like chasing after a high

Isn’t just a different batch of peppers that are identical to the more red ones?

  8. SpoopsMan

Bruh I’d buy at least 10 of these if I found any in my area at that price

It’s definitely not as good as it used to be but shit, for 10 cents I’d buy a case.

The sriacha I’ve seen is red and tastes the same as always tbh

I got a taste for the Tabasco one during the shortage. I know it’s not anywhere near traditional but it’s really freaking good on chicken wings with some butter and garlic mixed into it.

I absolutely don’t have room to buy any more sauce right now (I have somewhere between 50-100 bottles of various hot sauce) but I’d still be buying a few of those

I just bought the underwood brand sriracha for the first time. So delicious and the color is such a deep red 🤤

  14. I see alot of people don’t know what caused the shortage or why it changed. So here it is
1 Supplier Conflict: For nearly 30 years, Huy Fong sourced jalapeños from Underwood Ranches. A dispute arose over payments and contract breaches, leading to a lawsuit where Huy Fong was ordered to pay over $23 million in damages.
2 Different Ingredients: Following the split, Huy Fong lost access to the specific pepper variety and quality used in their original formula, resulting in a milder flavor and different consistency.
3Shortages & Quality Control: Subsequent chili shortages in Mexico, where they moved their sourcing, led to inconsistent, less-ripe peppers, contributing to a darker, “browner” sauce compared to the original vibrant red.
Underwood Ranches has since launched its own product, “Dragon Sriracha,” which uses the original pepper formula.
