PHOENIX — Luna Grill will celebrate its second Valley location in Gilbert with a grand opening on April 16.
The fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant will be located near Market Street and Pecos Road.
Luna Grill was founded in 2006 in San Diego by a husband-and-wife team and now has 57 locations ranging from the west coast to Texas.
The Gilbert location is one of four expansion restaurants in 2026 and will join a Mesa location to form an East Valley pairing.
“Arizona continues to be a key growth market for Luna Grill,” CEO Rich Pinnella said in a press release. “Following the success of our Mesa location, we’re excited to bring good food that’s good for you to Gilbert, an energetic and welcoming community that reflects the lifestyle and values we aim to serve. This is an important step as we continue expanding our presence across the state.
“Right now, Luna Grill is riding a wave of enthusiasm resulting in five straight years of same-store sales growth and 11 straight quarters of same-store transaction growth. We could not be more excited to continue that momentum in the Valley.”
Luna Grill offers customizable bowls, plates and wraps that include grilled protein and house-made sauces, as well as kabobs, salads, pitas, family meals and catering options.

The first 57 guests will get a free bowl and Luna Grill hat in honor of the brand’s 57th location
Club members will get $5 off their first purchase and $10 off every $100 spent
Club members will have access to a free one-hour session with a registered dietitian
Club members will have access to the Kids Eat Free promotion that runs Monday through Thursday
Luna Grill will also be partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley through an integrated giveback initiative to demonstrate the brand’s commitment to the community.
