Ingredients for Low-Carb Margherita Pasta:
1 package It’s Skinny Fettuccine
1 cup pasta sauce
1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
1 bunch fresh basil
How to Make Margherita Pasta with It’s Skinny Fettuccine:
1 – Drain and rinse 1 package of It’s Skinny fettuccine pasta.
2 – In an oven-safe skillet, add the pasta sauce, It’s Skinny fettuccine, rotisserie chicken, and tomatoes. Top with the mozzarella cheese and about half of the fresh basil leaves.
3 – Cook the Margherita pasta in the oven on broil for about 10 minutes or until the mozzarella cheese is melted and slightly golden brown, and the pasta and sauce is heated through and bubbling. Top the pasta with the rest of the fresh basil. Optionally, garnish with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Dish up and dig in!
