
Ba Le in Boston/Dorchester had some interesting and tasty toppings for their banh mi, especially their grilled meat banh mi/banh mi thit nuong. There was an interesting sweetened fish sauce and scallion oil on top, in addition to the pate, mayo, and veg.
I haven’t had anything like their banh mi before, even when I explored other Vietnamese hubs (including Orange County, DC/Virginia, and Atlanta). Is there something maybe similar in the GTA?
