BGE launched a new color, ‘The Onyx’. I saw some announcements of something big, but never seen this coming. Personally I loved the idea of only one color, but I’m curious to see it in real life. What do you think?

i dont care if it “replaces” the old one as part of some kind of “improvement” if its only for looks nope then i got the feeling its to squeze more money out of the buyer
i be honest i dont like were this might lead, green egg becoming a more and more “trend and fashion” brand
its called “green” egg has a very high recognition, loyalty, history
i hope im wrong but im not sure about “the vison for the future”
edit also if i wanted a Black one i would have bought a Monolith and if i wanted a red one i would have gotten a Kamado Joe

i hope i clicked something wrong but as it seems for me it costs nearly a quater more !
It’s not really black it’s a very nice dark green color. But I like the original green one the best!
The one thing I like about the new one are the thicker stainless steel grill grates. They only have vertical bars, which make them easier to clean.
