Artist Laura Tanner kicks off a residency at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, 501 E. Ninth St., Little Rock, with a program tilted “Art Insights: Roots and Recipes,” 6-8 p.m. April 23, in which she “shares how her creative process transforms shared recipes and stories into art that reflects the rituals of cooking, gathering and traditions,” according to a news release.
