The Goods from Banda Volpi

Vancouver, BC | A fresh harvest of Volpi Olive Oil has arrived from southern Italy – and it’s now available to take home.

Made in collaboration with Mandranova in Sicily, Volpi ~ Italian for foxes ~ is the Banda Volpi private label extra virgin olive oil used liberally, lavishly, and unsparingly in the kitchens of Savio Volpe, Elio Volpe, Pepino’s, and La Tana. With the arrival of our newest harvest, Volpi EVOO is once again available for your own kitchen.

Volpi is made from 100% Nocellara del Belice olives grown, hand-picked, and crushed on Mandranova’s farm. Green with golden hues and scents of freshly cut grass, artichokes, and tomatoes, the oil is fruity, spicy, and balanced by bitterness ~ a true expression of its Sicilian terroir.

At the heart of Mandranova is a famiglia. Lovingly run by Giuseppe, Silvia, and Gabriele di Vincenzo, the farm’s philosophy centres around working in harmony with nature. By combining traditional knowledge with modern methods, they prioritize biodiversity, sustainability, and reverence for the land they’ve called home for centuries.
