A new list of Canada’s best brunch and lunch spots just dropped and it’s brimming with Toronto eateries.

OpenTable has unveiled the “2026 Top 100 Brunch & Lunch Restaurants,” looking at insights from diner reviews and demand from across the country to determine the list.

And with Mother’s Day right around the corner on May 10, maybe one of these spots will be where you take your mom for a special meal.

Here’s a look at the Toronto restaurants featured. 

Abrielle

On King Street West, Abrielle brings the “vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean Coast” to the heart of downtown Toronto.

“Our food and drink menu celebrates the sun-drenched regions of South of France, Italy and Spain along with a little love from a few neighbouring countries,” according to the restaurant.

Alder

At Alder, you’ll find a wood-fired restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss.

The brunch menu includes lobster brioche, a Dutch baby pancake, Shakshuka and more.

Allen’s

Allen’s opened nearly four decades ago in 1987. Its menu focuses on “Ontario farmed and grown produce, with an unrivalled presentation of naturally raised or organic meats from area farmers.”

Aloette

Known as the “casual sibling” of Toronto’s acclaimed restaurant Alo, Aloette “redefines comfort food with impeccable execution and high-quality ingredients,” according to OpenTable.

With two locations in the city, this spot was also named as an “OpenTable Icon” in 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Amal Restaurant

Amal Restaurant is a modern Lebanese culinary experience in Yorkville.

On the brunch menu you’ll find grape leaves, marinated olives, a Lebanese omelette, eggs makanek and more.

Auberge du Pommier

Serving guests since 1987, Auberge du Pommier has traditional French cuisine with North American influences. The restaurant “combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style,” according to the team.

Café Boulud

With a seasonally changing menu rooted in French tradition, Café Boulud is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in Yorkville. At the helm of the French brasserie is chef Daniel Boulud.

Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen

Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen is a take on traditional Caribbean cooking balanced with “relevant culinary twists.”

And this spot was also named as an “OpenTable Icon” in 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Daphne

At Daphne, diners will find a modern American experience in Toronto’s Financial District.

Cured salmon, steak and eggs, branzino, fresh oysters and more are on offer during brunch.

El Catrin

Located in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, El Catrin serves authentic, traditional and modern Mexican cuisine. Plus, it also has the largest tequila and mezcal collection in Canada.

General Public

General Public is “inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie,” according to the team.

On the brunch menu, try the seafood tower, masala poached eggs, and popcorn clams and mussels.

Grazie Ristorante

Grazie Ristorante is a family-owned Italian spot on Yonge Street.

“With over 30 years in business, the restaurant has become a measure of quality and consistency in the area,” OpenTable said.

Kost

On the 44th floor of Toronto’s Bisha Hotel, Kost not only brings panoramic views of the city from its restaurant, but also a menu inspired by the Baja Peninsula.

Le Sélect Bistro

With a five-decade history, Le Sélect Bistro offers classic French cuisine and Parisian-inspired decor.

Plus, the restaurant also has one of the most extensive wine cellars in Canada, with more than 1,200 bottles and counting.

Louix Louis

Louix Louis is tucked 31 floors above city’s skyline atop the St. Regis Toronto.

It’s Royal Brunch menu includes maple French toast, burrata salad, steak and eggs, and a coconut milk chocolate tart.

Miss Likklemores

Inspired by the “warm breeze and crystal blue shoes of the Caribbean islands,” you’ll find dishes like tempura okra, sea bream crude, salt cod fritters and more on the menu at Miss Likklemores.

Pai Northern Thai — Uptown

At Pai Northern Thai’s uptown location, executive chef Nuit Regular brings the taste of Northern Thailand’s authentic flavours to the restaurant.

“Fried fish with green curry, braised beef noodle soup, and Chef Nuit’s Pad Thai are some of the entrées that will satisfy just about any appetite,” OpenTable said.

Queens Harbour

Queens Harbour opened last summer in July 2025 and is located on Toronto’s waterfront.

Its menu fuses together Mediterranean and Asian influences and offers guests waterfront scenery and CN Tower views while dining.

REIGN

Weekend brunch at REIGN includes dishes like lobster benedict, smoked trout tartine, banana foster French toast, and honey lavender pavlova.

RH Courtyard Restaurant at RH Toronto

At RH Toronto, this restaurant resides in the grand central courtyard and offers “timeless classics” during its weekend brunch including an Italian benedict and steak and eggs.

Stock Bar

Although Stock Bar is known for its steaks, burgers, pizza and pasta dishes, it also has brunch offerings on weekends.

Terroni Price

In Toronto’s Summerhill neighbourhood, Terroni Price is “a place to gather at all times of day, for coffee and a cornetto, brunch, lunch and dinner,” according to OpenTable.

The Berczy Tavern

Just steps away from Toronto’s Union Station is The Berczy Tavern. Here, diners will find “bold flavours, seasonal ingredients, and Mediterranean influences to the heart of Old Town.”

The Dorset

The Dorset is a British restaurant and bar led by executive chef Ryan Lister.

It offers “a myriad of ways to enjoy seasonal, contemporary British cooking and cocktails,” OpenTable said.

The Lunch Lady

The Lunch Lady first opened in Toronto in 2025. The restaurant comes from Nguyen Thi Thanh’s “legendary” Saigon street food stall that was “immortalized” by Bourdain on his acclaimed show “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.”

Union

Also located on Ossington Avenue, Union is a neighbourhood restaurant with “eclectic French cuisine.”

“Inspired by classic Parisian bistros, Union brings the essence of French culinary passion to Toronto with a modern flair,” according to OpenTable, naming this spot an “OpenTable Icon” in 2025 and 2026.

And aside from Toronto’s accolades, other Ontario restaurants that made the list include Cafe Amore in St. Catharines, Ottawa’s Cantina Gia, and The Common Stove in Orillia.
