Just wanted to post an update to my post earlier this week requesting help on how to make a cake for my sons 2nd birthday. It turned out awesome! And it was SO easy.
The frosting I used was actually not very sticky so I actually had to push the parchment paper in on some parts and then I used a butter knife to push around the edges to clean it up.
Let me know if you have any questions from my experience! Thanks again for all the advice!

I remember your post from a few days ago, you did a great job with this, it looks awesome! The rock candy is a great touch! Happy birthday to your little guy!
It’s adorable! The “2” is perfection.
I loved when my family used my toys in my cakes as a kid. Happy birthday to your son!
Omg you did such a great job!!
This is perfection! I’d love this as my birthday cake and I’m an old.
I love this!
Your son is very lucky!!
It’s sooo cute and well done!!
That looks brilliant. What are the stones made of?
Dang it actually came out perfect.
Did you wrap any treasures in the dirt to find?
I remember having cake with coins wrapped in tinfoil in it as a kid at a friend’s house.
Love it! Looks great!
so did you put in the freezer before making the “2”? just curious, because i think that was a suggestion that somebody made on your other post. Kinda sounds like you didn’t need to though because the frosting wasn’t very sticky.
Anyway, good job and I’m glad it was easy to do!
This is wonderful!
This looks so good I’d have sworn it was AI
This is so freaking cute.

Thanks so much for the update, it looks great. I’m planning the same cake for my digger loving toddler when he turns 2 in July.
I’m not very good at decorating but hoping this will be doable.
Amazing!

This is one of the coolest cakes I’ve ever seen. And it’s not even very complicated.
