Just to share my excitement as a first time tomato and pepper mom.

A month ago I was concerned that my King of bell peppers and Trinidad Perfume Peppers were shrimps as they weren't growing.

After making some changes (thanks to everyone here), look at them now 🥹🥹🥹.

They grown so big. Now I actually have to repot them again because it's starting to fruit. I'm working on hardening them off but it's super windy today. I want them to be outside more.

They grew a lot bigger than what I had them last week.

1&3 are my sweet peppers that I was concerned about.

Rest are my other hot peppers and tomatoes I got going.

Picture 5 and onwards were about a month ago. Including some that had questionable roots. I think one died but all the others pulled through. Now they are growing fast.

That’s excellent growth for one month. Can you share details about your setup? Looks like they get plenty of light. Are you using fertilizers?

    Yep.

I got a couple T8s and a ViparSpectra in the middle. Cobbled up the light hanger using 1/2 PVC pipes. My ViparSpectra is set to 20% now.

I fertilize them once a week. I switch between Neptunes Harvest Tomato and Veg one week and the other week it’s Neptune Harvest Fish and Seaweed fertilizer.

I had a couple that struggled with nitrogen. After making some adjustments to their soil and spritzing diluted liquid fertilizer on their foilage, it’s much happier now.

Peeps on this sub have been extremely helpful.

    The soil is:

    – coco coir

    – perilite

    – gaia worm casting

    – fish bone meal

    – azomite

    – acti sol tomato and vegetable dry fertilizer
