WORCESTER — I’d never heard of “pacherri ripieni” before. But apparently it’s my new favorite pasta dish.
It’s a tight formation of pasta tubes that are stuffed with a sausage mixture, baked and topped with a final bit of cheese. The final product is visually striking and an absolute blast to eat.
The dish is just one of the highlights at Vivienne, a new Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Worcester. But it’s the one I’m going to recommend everyone try if they go.

Vivienne is the latest addition to Worcester’s restaurant scene from Niche Hospitality Group.
It technically launched in September 2025. But just days after opening, it shuttered for six months following an electrical fire.
Fortunately, Vivienne bounced back and reopened in March. It’s a good thing, too. If it hadn’t stuck it out, I’d live in a world where I hadn’t tried the miracle stuffed pasta tubes.
What’s good on the menu?
Outside of my new favorite pasta dish, I was impressed by the shareable and seafood options on Vivienne’s menu.
The bruléed feta with honey was a simple yet effective way to start the meal. Meanwhile, the seared oysters were killer.
A lot of places offer tiramisu. But Vivienne has a particularly decadent and flavorful spin on it. Theirs is smothered in rich, delicious cream that’s offset by the potent coffee flavors underneath.

Vivienne is located right across from Worcester City Common and has multiple parking options. You can get valet parking for $10. They also offer free validated parking at the garage at 40 Pleasant St.
In addition to the main restaurant, there’s also VUE at Vivienne, an upscale cocktail lounge on the 24th floor of the glass tower building.
