NEW YORK – An exclusive Roditis wine tasting event was held by wine educator John Camacho Vidal on September 7, both online and in person at Artion Café, 230 Church Street in New York’s Tribeca neighborhood.
Titled ‘Savor the Taste of Greece’, the event explored the world of Greek wines alongside wine educator, John Camacho Vidal.
In an interview with The National Herald, a spokesperson from Roditis Wines revealed that the event was all about raising awareness and appreciation for the Greek variety of Roditis Wine.
“The Wine Educator John Camacho offered an exclusive in-person tasting and pairing seminar and virtual webinar, dedicated to the versatility and distinct characteristics of Roditis wines, offering tips and pairing with fine cheeses, olive oil and traditional Greek bread, koulouri Thessalonikis, to increase appreciation for the variety of Greek Wines,” the spokesperson said.
“The guests were given literature of the variety of wines, the attendees came from all walks of life and mingled, spoke extensively to the wine educator and showed genuine interest in Greek wines.”

The Roditis Wines spokesperson said that the event received a great turnout, with many showing a strong interest in learning about the wines.
She added how the event aimed to increase awareness about the variety of Greek wines on offer.
“As well as to educate wine enthusiasts about the history, region and specifics about the grape variety and what to pair it with,” they added.
