HUDSON, NY (WRGB) — The non-alcoholic beverage market is growing, and a new zero-proof bottle shop opened its doors in the Capital Region this summer.
Hudson Dry is a new kind of bottle shop. They focus on non-alcoholic beer, wine, spirits, mixers, bitters, and everything you need to make a great drink. Ryan likes the term “zero-proof”, but it’s worth explaining what that means.
Owner and owner Ryan Curran says the shop is meant for those who are sober or sober-curious, those who are choosing not to drink or drink less due to health reasons, pregnant women, people entertaining friends who don’t drink, those who don’t drink for religious reasons, and those who sometimes would rather not drink alcohol.
Ryan keeps a large selection of beverages behind the counter for tasting before buying.
