Ingredients

  • potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • parsley or chives for garnish

    Preparation

    1. Boil starchy or all-purpose potatoes until soft; drain.
    2. Wipe the pot and return to very low heat.
    3. Mash with 1 stick butter; then stir in 1/2 cup heavy cream.
    4. Garnish: Parsley or chives.
