Preparation
- Arrange sardines in single layer in a shallow baking dish. Place bay leaves between every other pair.
- Beat oil with lemon juice and cumin and pour over sardines.
- Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Refrigerate overnight.
- To serve, remove fish from jellied sauce.
