Preparation

  1. Arrange sardines in single layer in a shallow baking dish. Place bay leaves between every other pair.
  2. Beat oil with lemon juice and cumin and pour over sardines.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. To serve, remove fish from jellied sauce.
