Wine.com says a specific wine is unavailable, but it’s available to other states? What’s going on?

I’m trying to buy this bottle of tannat that costco around me used to carry but stopped for some reason. When I first clicked on the link, for some reason, [the site defaulted to “Ship to IL” and it was in stock](https://i.imgur.com/delIc32.png). I switched [IL to MD, and now it says it’s unavailable](https://i.imgur.com/u8UiL2i.png).

I’ve definitely been able to buy this brand and vintage before, and I guess the 2020 vintage being an alternative isn’t the worst thing in the world (though I haven’t tried it), but what’s going on here?

Why would IL be able to order this wine but MD couldn’t? Different warehouses having different stock? Anyone ever see this before, or have any ideas? Thanks.
