    Egg Jaffle:

    Ingredients:

    -1 Egg-27 cents
    – 2 slices bread-14 cents
    – Butter or margarine
    – Salt and pepper

    Method:

    – Heat the jaffle maker
    -Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread
    – Press the buttered side of the bread into dip of the jaffle maker
    -Add the egg to the dip in the bread and season to taste
    – Top with the remaining slice of bread- buttered side up
    -Close the jaffle maker and cook for 3-4 minutes
    -Serve with salad and a glass of wine
