    I suggest you try cooking a Georgian-style chicken. It’s called “shkmeruli”. It’s a great chicken in a creamy garlic sauce, very tender. [Here you can watch the video recipe](https://youtu.be/D9xVgZFJcBQ).

    **Ingredients:**

    * Chicken (thighs) – 1 kg (2.2 lbs)
    * Parsley – 15-20 grams (0.6 oz)
    * Cream (20%) – 400 ml (2 cups or 13.5 fl oz)
    * Garlic – 1 clove
    * Paprika – 1 tbsp
    * Chili pepper – 1 tsp
    * Salt – 1 tsp
    * Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp

    **Directions:**

    1. Take the chicken and rub it with salt. Set it aside for a while.
    2. Chop the parsley. Peel the garlic and crush it in a mortar along with the salt.
    3. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Then place the chicken, cover with something heavy on top and fry for 12-15 minutes over medium heat. After that, turn the chicken and fry for another 12-15 minutes on the other side (also under a heavy press, you need it to make the chicken give juice).
    4. When the chicken is cooked take it out of the pan. In the same pan add crushed garlic and fry a little. Then pour the cream, reduce the heat to low and cook for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
    5. When the cream thickens, add spices: paprika, chili pepper, salt, parsley and mix. Then return the chicken, pour it on all sides of the sauce and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes.
    6. Serve the chicken with bread (I also recommend slicing fresh vegetables). Bon appetit!
