So I kinda got lost in Tzuyang’s videos one day and decided to go to a Korean BBQ. My family and I fell in love with the Korean kitchen and I have spent the last 3 years trying to learn. It’s been amazing, so amazing that we have seemed to cross it over in a new tradition. This is what our Christmas dinner looks like. We do a Korean BBQ at home. We got our own grilling plates and fight over the beef bulgogi. I now eat home made kimchi everyday and we eat something Korean or a fusion with Japanese at least twice a week.

What I find most amazing is that alot of Korean dishes have that comfort food feeling when eating, but I don’t feel vile and unhealthy after, actually it’s the opposite. Most kitchens comfort food leave me to feel like I just clogged arteries.

Anyway, I wanted to thank all the Korean people reading this for sharing your culture and foods with the world. It has truly made a huge difference in our lives and I honestly am so grateful. Food is a huge part of me and my family’s lives, alot of days cooking is what gets me up in the morning, because I live for the smiles it puts on my family’s face.
