  1. This is great – thank you! Question – I noticed you didn't use a back flow preventer – why? And what if you punch a hole in that main line by mistake – are there plugs to plug those up?

  2. The music, please just dont. You have interesting stuff to tell. The tune just draws attention from you

  3. Ap govt it is not known renewed the drip materials to upland, garden growing farmers as previously sanctions of dist collectors for approval of estimates of drip for land utilised for plants growing by way of drip, the lands of vizag,ANAKAPALLI, etc need drip system as there are no perinial rivers to give water,no project canal regulatory system, dam,as such the polavaram left canal digging is not continued,no near waters flow in ANAKAPALLI dist/no distributory systems of canal irrigation,as well as no supply of drip material from companies as done by previous govt, all was stopped,in such a case how farmers could sustain their crops without drip when uplanded, dry crops persist in these areas, this problem may be given top imortance

  4. Perfect! There’s only 1 other channel I see that’s almost as complete and comprehensive as your drip irrigation tutorial; cause you demonstrated after explaining. I was so intimidated by drip irrigation system but after watching your video a few times, I completely get IT! This is so easy! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thanks for sharing.

  5. If I connect this system from a garden hose instead of at the spigot would I still need a back flow preventer? Could any type of garden hose be used? My garden is unfortunately very far away from my one and only water spigot.

  6. Great vid. Please consider removing the background music or at least making it much quieter, because it's so very (almost painfully) distracting throughout.

  7. Omg thank you so much, I know nothing about gardening and have been looking into starting and this has been the most helpful!

  8. This feels like such a silly question, but you keep the hose turned on with a timer right?😅 Your video was super helpful and my system is all set up, but I keep feeling dread that my hose is turned on (even though the timer won’t go on until 6 AM)!😬

  9. Thanks for the great video! Do you install the timer directly to the bib or do you put the back flow preventer on first?

  10. Thanks to you, I was successful in putting together a wonderful irrigation system today in our garden. Is there a specific back flow prevention valve that you would suggest?

  11. I purchased an inexpensive drip system from Amazon for my raised beds. Received it today, but it came with very poor instructions ~ a bunch of pieces and nothing labeled, etc. You drastically cleared things up for me! After a trip to Lowes to get the couple of tools you suggested and more of the larger tubing I am confident I can get this installed. Thank you sooooo much! Linda from Tennessee

  12. Question. My raised beds are 4’ wide. I was thinking of running only one large tube down the middle and branching to each side with the 1/4” tubing. Would that be ok? At one spot I have four 14’ beds connected end to end.

  13. I have raised beds 14’ X 4’. One of my set ups has four of these beds connected end to end. I was thinking of running just one large tube down the middle and branching to either side with the 1/4” tubing. Is that ok? Also, will it be ok to just lay the bigger tubing over the 3 dividers in this big bed? Linda Harrison (Tennessee)

  14. You resemble the guy who is a master brewer at “Steam Hollow Brewing” in Manteno, Illinois

  15. this is what I was looking for. Thank you for educating some of us who are new to the dripping system

  16. All the praise for your video is well-deserved. I found the topic overwhelming until I watched it. I was obviously over-thinking things – you cut through all the fancy stuff and explained clearly what I needed to know. Thank you.

  17. Thanks for the video. Great info. Not a fan of the background music though lol. Your content is great I think you don’t need that bg music. It’s very distracting

  18. Thank you so much for this clear, easy to follow, tutorial. It's been the best one I've seen!

  19. Thanks for this great detailed explanation of a drip system. Can I ask you where you purchased the screen for your garden? Not sure if screen is correct word for those sun protectors on the PVC frame. Thanks so much.

  20. Nice, clear video for setting up a simple drip system. I wonder, though, if it would be better to install the pressure regulator between the faucet and the timer instead of between the timer and the drip-tube connector. My Rainbird timers say to turn the water spigot on only one-quarter turn in order to not damage the timer. By placing the pressure regulator between the spigot and timer, you could avoid accidently damaging the timer from too much pressure, while still keeping your tube fittings from getting blown off due to to much pressure.

  21. Excellent video! I recently planted 20 blue point junipers (10 gal. size), and I was considering a soaker hose setup. Drip seems the best way to go, though. A soaker would water places where I don't actually want water. Any thoughts on which size drip emitters to use and how long to water for? Thanks again!

  22. Be nice if automater watering systems actually continued to work, but none of those I’ve tried, ever do, due to the calcium salts in my water supply. Which is virtually impossible to remove.

  23. I've been confused by others on how to install a drip irrigation system but yours was pretty straight forward and easy to understand and follow. Definitely on of the tops.

  24. This video is a god send, answering all the right stuff. Can anyone tell me how long the batteries last on average for something like this? If it were just a small veggie garden giving a small water for a few minutes twice a day? Just wondering if its a couple weeks thing or like once a year. Cheers!
