Homemade hoisin

    1 15 oz can plums, drained and pitted
    2 T soy sauce
    1 1/2 T sherry
    2 cloves garlic or 2 t minced
    1/4 c brown sugar
    1/4 c BBQ sauce (I used no sugar Sweet Baby Ray’s)
    1/2 T Chinese five spice or to taste (optional)

    Liquify it all in a blender until smooth.
