This is my first time making and canning pickles. I used a small harvest of lemon cucumbers from my yard and other store bought veges, and I followed the Lemon Pickles recipe from my Ball Home Preserving book and water bathed these and the seal is good (this was done 3 weeks ago)! What should I expect for the flavor of this? Does the quality look ok? I’ve not properly tried pickles in general so idk what to expect. Any input is appreciated!

    Fresh looking veggies, clean headspace, plus you said the seal is still good. I’d say you succeeded. Flavor wise, I’ve never even heard of lemon cucumbers so I have no comparison for ya. Looks pretty damn tasty though!
