Basic Fresh Pasta

    **Ingredients:**

    – 6 Eggs *(I used medium-sized eggs)*
    – 600g Flour + more for dusting
    – Pinch of salt

    *Additional ingredients for variations:*

    – Cracked black pepper
    – Chili lime seasoning

    **Directions**

    1) Put flour in a clean surface.

    2) Make a well at the center.

    3) Add the eggs.

    4) Gently mix with fingers or a fork until well combined.

    5) Knead the dough for a couple of minutes then let it rest for about an hour or so, covered with a lightly damp cloth.

    6) Once the dough has rested, dust it with a bit of flour then roll it out to your desired thickness.

    7) You may use a pasta machine at this stage to make the dough flat and to cut it, or a rolling pin and knife.

    8) Dust each pasta serving with flour to avoid sticking. You may already use this or dry it out for future use.

    – *If you’re planning on adding other flavors you can add them during the initial dough mixing or after the dough has rested. I used a hand cranked pasta machine to shape and cut this batch but you can definitely still make this without the pasta machine.* 🥰🍝
