Day 3 of my ad hoc tastings of new world Chardonnays…
Medium golden color. Light oak and tropical fruit on the nose. Medium acidity that balances this wine nicely on the palate. Green apple and pineapple are the most prominent notes I’m tasting.
This is a well made, very much CA-styled, chard.
I’m staying with family and found this in the fridge and was told it was opened a few days ago. After my terrible experience yesterday (3/4 of that bottle still sitting in the fridge) I figured I’d give this a go before powering through the rest of that. Anyone familiar with this producer?
Lastly, long time reader of r/wine but never really posted; I’m kind of a beginner when it comes to tasting notes which I’m hoping to change. Hopefully these daily posts aren’t too much!
