I just picked up a mini crockpot, and tried the recipe included in it. (gracie’s famous spinach dip)
I measured all the ingredients, poured them in and mixed it all together. Cooked on high for 2 hours. Overall the cheese isnt really melted its just super stringy. Anyone have ideas what I should have done differently here?

I don’t think you did anything wrong. I also don’t see how that recipe could possibly work without some emulsification of liquids and cheese, normally you’d start with a béchamel type of base.
