Slow cooker braised short ribs in a red wine gravy

    Recipe

    5 short ribs
    500 ml beef stock
    250ml red wine
    4 cloves garlic
    4 carrots roughly chopped
    1 onion roughly chopped
    3 celery sticks roughly chopped
    1 handful diced swede
    2 oxo red wine stock pots
    1tbsp garlic granules
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Add everything to the slowe cooker. Cook on high for 6 hours. Once cooked remove the beef and place in a separate bowl. Remove the carrots also. Use a stick blender to blend all the remaining vegetable into the gravy. Add a flour and water roux to thicken the sauce. Then add beef back to warm. Then serve!
