Hello Everyone, I’m Vito from Italy. I love cooking and sharing my recipes.
This is my grandma Pasta e fagioli 😉 Below the recipe and [here the full video if you need more info to cook it following italian procedure and style ;-)](https://youtu.be/ZkIBCKE4mJI)
**Recipe x 4:**
* Pasta 400gr /14oz (in this case I used short Penne) * Borlotti beans 300gr /10oz * Parma ham 150gr / 5oz * 1 tablespoon of tomato paste * 2 sprigs of thyme * Salt and Pepper To Taste * EV olive oil * Parmigiano reggiano cheese to taste

**Procedure:**
1. Cut the ham in strips 2. Add in a pan EV olive oil, 1 clove of garlic and pepper (I used ground red pepper) 3. After 2 minutes add the ham and let it brown for 2 minutes. Remove the ham from the pan and keep it aside 4. Add the beans, the sprigs of thyme, pepper, salt to taste and cook for 10 minutes. (The beans have grown in my garden. You can use borlotti beans jar) 5. After few minutes add the tomatoes paste. Add water in a pot and when it starts to boil add salt and pasta 6. Add the ham to the beans in the pan and drain the pasta al dente and salta la pasta!!! 7. add Parmigiano Reggiano to taste
