I’m new to this community and new to slow cooking. I made a red lentil dal yesterday. Cooked it on high for 6 hours then left it on keep warm for another 4 while I was out. When I cleaned the pot, there’s a cloudy grainy texture around the middle. Did I ruin my slow cooking pot? Thanks for the help!

No, that’s just some starchy buildup from using it. Happens all the time. It won’t hurt anything to leave it there, though it will build up after a while. A good wipe down with white vinegar will take care of it.
