That’s a lot of effort just for me to wolf it down and not taste it.

This and every time I see someone with amazing donuts frustrates me.
Why?
Tim Horton’s over the decades here slowly but surely put casual coffee shops and donut shops out of business with their cheap and fast methods. Now all of this time later Tim Horton’s is circling the drain of abysmal quality and poor service. The donuts are stale 50% of the time at numerous locations and full of flies crawling on the donuts in the open displays during warmer seasons. Needless to say there’s no joy in eating a donut that tastes like a shoe made of bread from a soulless corporation.
And if you want a donut from here it’s Ṭim Horton’s or the grocery store.

Okay that Ferraro Rocher one would kill me. The Kit Kat one looks awesome too.

Am I the only one that prefers a simple glazed donut?

There’s too much going on with donuts these days. Just stick to the basics. Donuts are already insanely sweet, so why add a KitKat, Ferrero Rocher, and other chocolates to take away from the light airy texture of the donut. I find that places that do this, more often than not, have a crap bread and compensate by adding fancy icing or making them look overly decorative.

You need to play classical music while eating these

Something tells me the plain looking one on the bottom right is actually the most delicious.
