My SO gave me this rice cooker and food steamer as a gift a couple of weeks ago and I really like it! But I’m curious, it has a setting called ‘Heat/simmering’ and the manual says it can be used for ‘prepackaged rice mixes, soups, stews, beans or any food that requires a heat and then simmer’. It can be set to up to 5 hours and I’m thinking maybe it could work for slowcooking as well? 5 hours isn’t that long but if I’m not leaving it unattended I can just turn the timer back on again 🙂 Do you think it could work?
