  1. Very informative and a great joy to watch, I’m looking forward to a windowsill full of germination with a variety of plants, ready for planting,
Lol apologies for Isla loosing her hair band, it all goes to great cause, I’ll be going for jerusalem artichokes at some stage as well 👍

  2. With an onion set if it starts to put up a flowering stalk just cut it off immediately and it will still make a bulb, and yes it is still good to eat.

  3. Hi Ben, I love your channel, watch it everyday. I try to follow your hints and tips however sometimes difficult as I’m in Melbourne Australia and we are different in seasons to where you are as such it would be good if you can advise eg, early spring, summer autumn etc rather than Feb March etc… that would be fantastic if you can incorporate that into new videos please. Thanks kindly, Khoi.

  4. Hi Ben how do we use pea shoots?
Can you pls tell me can i grow snow peas in pots n what size pot is suitable?
Its late Summer now n can i stil sow the seeds n wil i be able to harvest b4 winter.
    Thanks!

  5. Now February as you know is different temperature in different places and zones, so would you please also mention the ideal temperatures for when to sow seeds , thank you

  6. Another reason why u should sow onions is the big variety. If I by from sets I get to choose 1 of 3. When starting from seeds. The variety is almost endless

  7. I am excited for the growing season after watching this. I did sow some chillis, sweet peppers and aubergines yesterday – I do have a heated propagator and grow lights, so fingers crossed for germination lift off. The suggestions for Feb sowing are really helpful, thanks Ben for another great video.

  8. Love these video reminders very helpful, keep up the good work it is very much appreciated. You could also try using cereal box cardboard to make the tubing needed for your beans/peas using string to secure them into the sizes that are required and the same as toilet rolls can be planted out into their growing positions when ready.☘👍😊

  9. Anyone know where this garden is? Watching the video I was instantly sidetracked by the American robin at 3.03 – supposedly very rare in the UK?? So…..back to the video……

  10. Excellent as always Ben; thank you so much. What are your thoughts on using inoculants for peas and beans? Also, presoaking beans and peas for 24 hrs or, is that better for sowing outdoors rather than starting indoors?

Keep the great information coming. Can't wait for your next tidbits of info.

  11. I'm an American (Ohio – Zone 6b) and I love how you say vegetable names. I love watching content like this. I already planted my onion and leek seed indoors. I signed up for your growveg planner. Love it! That planning software even impressed my engineer boyfriend!

  12. Lovely video Ben! I got broad beans and extra early shelly peas going in next week if the weather holds, they should be done by the time the tomatoes can go in!
