    Ingredients:

    – 1 lb italian sausage
    – 1 whole onion
    – 2-3 stalks celery
    – 1-2 carrots
    – 4-5 portabella mushrooms, sliced
    – 1 Tbsp garlic
    – 1 quart chicken broth
    – 1 1/2 lb gold potatos (the ones with the thin skin) cut into – bite sized pieces.
    – 2 tablespoons sugar
    – 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    – 2 cups heavy cream
    – And salt and msg to taste (I use msg in everything lol)
    – (Chopped kale or spinach is also a good add on to make it healthier, I didn’t use it this time)

Step 1: Mince the veggies, celery, onion, garlic, and carrots finely. (A handichop makes this step suuuper easy)

Step 2: Add sausage and the veggies and cook until browned, about 7 minutes. (This step is optional, however if you don’t do it the veggies can be crunchy which will be a wierd texture in an otherwise soft and creamy soup.)

Step 3: Add sliced mushrooms, potatos, nutmeg, broth, sugar, salt, msg, and pepper if using.

Step 4: Set on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.

Step 5: Add heavy cream and chopped kale/spinach if using.

    Serve.

Also lpt: I didn’t have heavy cream and apparently you can substitute it with 3/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup butter and it’s probably way more expensive and unhealthier now but brooo the butter tastes sooo good lol.

Thank you! Paid $12.95 on Friday for a small bowl of this. Maybe it was the kale…
