Stretch them out over five days and add a bunch of veg and some starches and/or beans or legumes. I often plan my meals as 50% vegetables, 25% protein, 25% grain/starch.

Shred them, add veggies to the portions, should stretch longer. What I do for meal prep is usually get one rotisserie chicken a week take off all the skin, break it down and shred the meat. I usually just use the breasts and bring the dark meat to a coworker who uses them to make tamales.

We’re you weighing the portions cooked or uncooked? Because if you were following a plan with chicken portions according to weight it may have been uncooked which is heavier?

I think you got a bad bag. Those bags are like 5 lbs of chicken. No way is this 5 pounds! 😳

I mean, its not really a fail. Cook more next time 🙂 That looks like a good base for a high protein meal. You could add stuff like rice & beans, salad (lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, some shredded cheese). Put a couple shredded ones into low carb tortillas with salsa and light sour cream, shredded cheese, etc. Just get a little more creative!

Meat is weighed from raw. Did you not notice the package size when you bought?
Either way, you can totally stretch it out over more days.
Edited to add: That’s assuming you’re freezing these. Cooked chicken only keeps in the fridge for 3-4 days max, assuming perfect temps at all times.

Cottage cheese. That’s the answer. With fruit!

Something isn’t adding up here. A Costco sized bag of tenderloins is like 6 lbs frozen. Unless you are talking about the three pack of fresh, in which case each small bag is roughly 2 lbs. Even if you cooked 2 lbs, that should make 8 standard servings or 5+ very generous servings.

I like to shred the chicken and then put them in a carb balance wrap (tons of fiber) with some lettuce and whatever seasonings/sauce. Its actually a staple of mine.
Or like other people said throw in some veggies or brown rice. Brown rice is kinda calorie dense though so it depends on your goals.

If you are talking about the six pack of individually wrapped chicken, then I am thinking you only cooked one of the little packs which would be about a pound of meat if I’m not mistaken. I’m looking at mine in the freezer and it doesn’t say the weight, but I would guess a pound. So split 16 oz into five and you’re looking at 3.2 oz per serving.

Obviously you know your portion sizes but generally 3-4 ounces is considered a “serving.” Add some greens and vegetables with a light dressing for a very filling lunch!
