OMG! My mother had this and it finally went to the slow-cooker heaven about 5 years ago! Great memories.

Wow, you took me back in time as I had one of this is the early days of my marriage.

My mom had this when I was growing up, she passed and it was one of the first things I got from her house. So many memories!

That looks fab. Love the multi-functionality of it.

I had one of those and I used it a lot.

I still have mine. It was passed down from my grammar, then mom, and now I have it. Can’t seem to part with it and I do use it to keep appetizers warm.

My favorite! Notice the control, not just High Low and Warm, it is full-spectrum. I won’t own a modern slow cooker because of that.

We had one of these growing up that I had forgotten about until this post. Wow, that was a long time ago.

West Bend still makes these!

My mom has one of these that she inherited from her grandma, and I absolutely love it! It is something I have expressed interest in inheriting someday as well. None of my modern crock pots ever made meals quite as good as this one.

I like the older lids better. You could actually stack two of pans. Well 3 if you just wanted to keep something warm in the top.

This was the best slow cooker I ever had! It was a wedding gift in 1984.

The lack of insulation on the *‘crock’* makes it a poor multi-tasker
edit: I had one as a dorm dweller in my younger days

not the best slow cooker for long cooks but great for short cooks or as a electric pan. my mom had one and hers broke so she is borrowing mine. I need to find her another so i can get mine back lol
