Pizza dough recipe- this makes one medium pizza or two small ones (like mine) -.25 ounces instant yeast -1 cup warm water -1 tsp sugar -2 tablespoons olive oil -few shakes of salt -2 1/2ish cups of flour
1. Even though I use instant yeast, I still start the same. I combine the yeast, warm water, and sugar first. 2. Add flour (I sift it to make life easier), salt, and oil. Add a little at a time. I mix by hand first then do my mixer with dough hooks for 1-2 minutes. Otherwise mix by hand until dough is smooth (it will be sticky but firm-ish). 3. Put dough on a lightly floured surface and form into a ball. I work the dough for ~5 min. Only add enough flour to avoid stick. 4. Plop into a bowl- with a bit of olive oil and roll it around just to coat, cover with plastic wrap. Set on counter top and proof for as long as possible- the longer (24-48 hrs) the better. Some people proof at room temp for a few hours then put into he fridge for 24. You can also put it directly into the fridge for a 24 hour+ proof, let it rest for an hour or two before use.
Pesto Alfredo Sauce – 1 tbsp butter – 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream – handful of shredded parmesean – a smidge of garlic powder – few shakes of pepper – few shakes of salt -1-2 tablespoon of jar pesto
-I used 3oz of Aldi frozen chicken breast strips and shredded cheese as toppings.
Traditional red sauce – 1/2 can of tomato paste – 1/4 water – 1-2 tbsp olive oil – oregano – parsley – basil – salt – pepper (Let this sit for a little bit! I make it the day before so everything can chill together).
-I used a handful of shredded cheese as topping
I put my oven at the max (550 f) and use a pizza pan. After around 10-12 minutes, it’s ready to rock and roll.
Use any left over sauces for pasta!

Sounds delicious. But I’m awful at planning for my pizza 24 hours ahead of time. ☹️
