Octopus was a fav protein of mine until I found out how smart they are. Now I just can’t do it. I’m not judging at all. I just make people aware because like two years ago I was eating every piece of takoyaki I could get my hands on.

It looks delicious. How was the texture? I’ve never eaten octopi, just squid.
I’m with u/4ygun and I/flukestarbucker1972…I prefer to imagine my meat as dumb. I used to see videoes of cows and pigs acting like dogs and think, “No, no, no! Steak and bacon are too good.”
