French Toast for Dinner

    French Toast

    8 slices Texas Toast (or other bread of choice)
    3 eggs
    3/4 C milk
    1 Tbsp sugar
    Dash salt
    Dash cinnamon
    1/2 tsp cinnamon

    Whip together all ingredients except bread. Dip bread in egg mixture for about 30 seconds per side. Fry in non stick skillet until golden brown (a few minutes per side). Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with butter and syrup.

    I served this with a package of sausage links and scrambled eggs. Cost about $7 and we have leftover toast and sausage for tomorrow’s breakfast.

    Wow I haven’t had french toast for years will make it for sure this weekend
