    I would have to agree, not a lot of fat it seems. I’m not a fan of fatty meats!

    Did you brown the outside of your roast in a pan before putting it in the pot? If not, it does help add to flavor. I would recommend. I will have to try adding banana peppers in my roast some time. Are they fresh or from a can/jar?

    It would be even more so if you browned the meat first.

    Not only will it look more amazing, it will taste better too!
