    I love them, and so does my husband…who definitely eats way more than 1500 kcal. I had them with flaky salt, a small amount of butter and a couple egg white muffins for ~500 kcal.

    As a former baker, it felt so nice to actually bake something that didn’t taste like a compromise and didn’t contain a bunch of weird ingredients.

    If you haven’t tried them yet…just do it! I didn’t have self rising flour so I added baking powder and salt.

    160 g ap flour

    1 tsp baking powder

    1/4 tsp sea salt

    140 g 0% plain greek yogurt

    Egg white

    Flaky salt

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Mix in Greek yogurt and knead with your hands for 5-10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth. Divide into 4 portions and roll into long strips. Shape bagels, put onto a baking sheet, brush with egg white and sprinkle with flaky salt. Bake for 20 minutes, rotating half way through.

    1 bagel: 167 kcal 8g protein, 0 g fat, 32 g carbohydrate
